FAIRMONT — A Fairmont woman was killed and the passenger in her vehicle was seriously injured in a single-car accident that occurred on Friday.
The report by Trooper D.L. White of the Highway Patrol says that “impairment by medication” could have contributed to the accident that killed Amanda Lynn Hunt, 35, of N.C. 130 Bypass, Fairmont. The passenger in the vehicle, Alejandro Acevedo, 20, suffered severe injuries and had to be flown to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. His condition was not available.
