New teachers from across the Sandhills region participate in the Beginning Teacher Summit this past week to look at strengthening their skills in the classroom. The one-day professional development at Lumberton High Schools offered the 54 participating teachers sessions on such topics as building a digital toolbox, inspiring students, curriculum to classroom management, and much more.
