To the Editor,
Let me see if I got this right. After serving for years on the Robeson County Board of Commissioners, screwing up the county, Raymond Cummings wants to be chairman of the Lumbee Tribal Government so he can screw that up too? More likely, he wants to get close to the tribe’s money.
Anyone who looks at Cummings’ record on the Board of Commissioners all these years, would know the only person Cummings makes an effort to help is Cummings himself. Don’t be fooled by this con man. We have a good chairman. Let’s keep it that way.
The last thing we need on this Earth is for Cummings to be is chairman of the Lumbee Tribe.
