LUMBERTON — Four women were arrested today and charged with prostitution in the wake of a joint operation between the Lumberton Police Department and the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Lumberton police Capt. Terry Parker, the operation “was the result of numerous complaints regarding prostitution in the East Lumberton community.”
Charged with prostitution were Hannah Locklear, 34, of Vergie Drive, Lumberton; Shauna Riley, 37, of McArthur Street, Lumberton; Liane Michelle Taylor, 41, of Clark Street, Lumberton; and Katherine Rose Arink, 37, of Patton Street, Lumberton
All were jailed at the Robeson County Detention Center.
Arink was placed under a $1,000 secured bond, while Locklear, Riley, and Taylor each received a $1,500 secured bond.
