The Lumberton O-Zone All-Stars won the District 11 championship over the weekend in Hope Mills, beating the host team to earn a spot in the state tournament. The squad, comprised of kids ages 11 and 12, earned a 14-9 victory over the 2015 state champions to claim the crown. They also beat last year’s champion — Lee County — en route to winning the title.
