LUMBERTON — A teenager is among four people recently charged after the Lumberton Police Drug Enforcement Unit seized heroin, cocaine, firearms and money from two apartments near Rowland Norment Elementary School.
Charged were Tyshaun Callum, 18, of Lumberton; Jarrod Denzel Lowery, 22, of Lumberton; Dupri Booker, 29, of Lumberton; and Clarence Graham, 31, of Lumberton, according to a statement from police Capt. Terry Parker.
They were arrested Oct. 17 after Lumberton Police Drug Enforcement Unit with assistance from the Lumberton SWAT team and Robeson County Sheriff’s Office searched two apartments, No. 2 and 3, at 820 E. Seventh St.
Lowery was charged with possession of heroin, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession of firearm by felon, alter/remove gun serial number, manufacture cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession with intent to manufacture cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond.
Booker was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana and possession of firearm by felon. He was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond.
Callum was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, alter/remove gun serial number, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed under a $75,000 secured bond.
Graham was charged with trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, maintaining a drug vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of cocaine. He was jailed under a $75,000 secured bond.
The statement did not say how much money was seized.
