PRINCESS ANN — A perfect fall day is forecast for Saturday during the ninth annual Lumber River Day at the Lumber River State Park’s Princess Ann site.
The free event is to start at 10 a.m. It will feature games for all ages, informational booths, music, arts and crafts, and a vendor selling drinks and food. Lumber River State Park is located at 2819 Princess Ann Road in Orrum.
The event usually is held in July, but it was rescheduled for Saturday because of staffing shortages.
