LUMBERTON — The Carolina Civic Center has scheduled auditions in February for two upcoming events at the historic theater.

The competition, scheduled for March 16 at 7 p.m., includes all categories of talent — from singing and dancing to juggling, instrumental and more. Contestants will be competing for a top prize of $1,000. There is no age limit to compete.
Applications for My Time to Shine auditions can be downloaded through the theater’s website at www.carolinaciviccenter.com or in-person through the theater’s offices from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.
All applications and a nonrefundable $20 registration fee must be submitted to the center to the attention of Jonathan Brewington, Stage Manager, at 315 N. Chestnut St., Lumberton, N.C., 28358 by Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Auditions also will take place on Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. for the musical “Annie,” scheduled to be staged at the theater June 13 through June 16.
