LUMBERTON — A 29-year-old Lumberton man has been charged with a shooting early this morning that left another man with injuries to his torso and legs, according to police Capt. Terry Parker.
Timothy Alford has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in the shooting at about 12:05 a.m. today at 1927 Eastwood Terrace that injured Odell McRae, 30, whose last known addresss was White Pond Road in Fairmont.
Alford, whose last known address is the 5000 block of Wire Blad Road, Orrum, was placed in the county jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
Parker said police do not have a motive.
