LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Republican Women will hear from an education specialist when the group meets on Thursday.
The meeting will be at Adelio’s Restaurant, 111 W. Third St. in Lumberton. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting will start at 7:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Dave Saba, who has worked over the years to improve educational outcomes for students through improved programs, processes and technology. He served as chief operating officer and board director for Global Personalized Acedemics, creating a global K-12 online organization that serves students in the United States, South America and China. He also serves as COO for the National Math and Science Initiative, overseeing teacher training expansion in 18 states.
Saba is a United States Naval Academy graduate and was a helicopter pilot in the Navy.
