LUMBERTON — A Diabetes and Lung Cancer Awareness Health Fair has been scheduled for Friday at Biggs Park Mall.
The fair, which is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m., is being sponsored by Southeastern Health’s Community Health Services and Gibson Cancer Center. Catherine Gaines, certified physician assistant and lead patient navigator, will discuss lung cancer prevention and screening. Information will be available about diabetes prevention and management.
The Lumberton High School choir, under the direction of Teresa Davis, will lead attendees in a memorial service for those lost to lung cancer.
